Default Google Sitemaps.....crawl errors

hello everyone. i have recently discovered google sitemaps, and i have created my own site map and submitted the url to google.

first off, im a little confused since i redeveloped/redesigned my whole site and ive seen google pick up on it. ive submitted my url to google, and ive noticed they have seen that, but after looking through my diagnostic page google is saying i have 13 'Not Found' errors and these links were part of my old site. only one is part of my current site, but in regards to the 12 old links, they are no longer on my site. Plus, in the same page it says my last crawl date was jun 5, 2006 (shouldnt every site be crawled at least 1-2 a month?) So im pretty confused here. I want fix this and i dont know how. Also it says my sitemap is in a unsupported file format. I like the one i made since its very organized for my clients and googles is just a unorganized mess. Id would appreciate any info regarding what i should do. here is a link to my sitemap http://www.sestrims.com/sitemap.htm

The Google sitemaps should be included in your root directory as an XML file. I use the sitemap generator at http://www.auditmypc.com for my site. Once you load the generator (its a java applet), simply enter you web address and click on the crawl button. Once the generator crawls the site, save the file as sitemap.xml and drop it into the root directory.
