Default Ads not showing on search results...HELP!!!!!

Yesterday was the first time I use google adwords, I setup 2 different ad group with same product, entered my credit card info, I set $55 per daily budget per ad group, and run it yesterday, I receive only 2 clicks, cost about $8 (I set average $5 per click) This morning, I check the diagnostic tool my ads are not showing on any keywords search results, due to "meet or exceed daily budget...???" I am confused, don't they charge me by per click basis, I setup my daily as $55 per day $110 total so far I only have 2 clicks, how is that meet or exceed daily budget??? Help please much apprecaited. By the way my campaigns are keywords targeted.

Can you give us a specific example of a keyword that you are using? How competitive and how general is the keywords that you are going after?

Adwords is a tricky thing if you are just starting out. New accounts are at a distinct disadvantage because Google actually has a PPC algorithm that will rank ads that have higher CTR's ahead of other ads even if you are paying more. So your ranking in Adwords is actually based both on a "relevancy" factor and how much you are paying. There are also a number of techniques that we employ for our clients to minimize click fraud.

Without a little more information such as what some of the keywords are I don't think I can really give you any helpful information.

thank you for taking your time, our keywords are mainly debt consolidation, debt relieft about 50 top competitive keywords related to debt consolidation, I have no problem with the keywords and bid amount, and I understand there are many factor involved such as CTR ratios and other stuff. But my concern is that under google diagnostic tool it says my ads are NOT showing on search results at all due to meet and exceed daily budget, but the report only shows 2 clicks how is that meet and exceed budget?

A $55 daily budget with keywords like "debt consolidation, debt relief"? How is this even conceivably possible?
