Default Google changed the title of my site

I noticed today that my root domain www.delpadre.com title is now displayed as “Del Padre Visual Productions” instead of the pages title tag that used to be displayed “Interactive new media, web site design, Flash design, CD-ROM, video and 3D Animation” as you can see in this screen shot.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks!

For certain search phrases that your site shows up for in the search results, Google will use the title used in the Google Directory (actually, the DMOZ.org title).

I understand, but why would they change this today after years? Could it have something to do with me submiting a page to DMOZ recently?

Thanks for your help.

If it's never been used before as the title, then they decided to start.

Not uncommon.
