Default Dashes or Extensions

Hi, I was wondering what would be best for optimzation... Is it more important to have a good extension (.com, .org, .net) or to have not have dashes when it comes to domain names. For example, which domain name would be better:

www.relevant-key-word.com
or
www.relevantkeyword.info

Thanks

As far as the extension goes, neither one is better than the other.
With regard to dashes vs non-dashes...
I think you will get people on both sides having their preference.
Personally, I prefer non-dashes.

I would stay with a .com over anything. Remember when it comes to domains the value they kick to the website for SEO is very minimal.

Instead think of a cool or catchy name yourself. Stuffing keywords in it with dashes is not as important as it was in 1999.

I agree with cyanide on using no dashes in the domain if at all possible
