Different position at different data centers

Hello, this is my first post.

I don't know why I am achieving different ranking at different data centers. I know that updates take time to populate across the data center network, but it has been like this for a couple weeks now.

Search Term: basement waterproofing

I happen to be working from Florida, but my company is located in Illinois and I often use remote access to work on my desktop there.

From FL, we have position 13 on p.2
From IL, we have position 34 on p.4

I don't know how to identify the IP addresses of the data center that I am looking at, so I cannot provide this info right now.

Can someone shed some insight here?

on ip http://72.14.203.104 I see you as #34 for the search term: basement waterproofing

You can find the ip by clicking on "cached" next to your url on the search

I been been seeing different results for this ip and I posted a thread here

That ip (72.14.203.104) shows when I hover the mouse over "cached" on each of the searches (from IL and FL).

It still lists me in 13th position when I search from FL. I still don't understand why there is a difference. I would like to get 13th at all data centers.

Also, when I go directly to 72.14.203.104, I see "English" next to the Google logo. That text is not present at either of the data centers that I connect to in FL or IL. Google works strangely.

Unfortunately I don't think we will get our wishes. I have consistently seen data centers fluxuate for sometime now. Of course you will also see them line up for some search terms.

Don't rack your brain over why they don't line up, you will just pull a brain muscle.
