Google alerts

Hi I receive Google alerts for subjects I want news on, they are great but I would really love my websites news to be included.

What programme do I need to run for Google to start using my news items.

All the news channels like the bbc, times online etc use the programme I expect I need I just don't know what it is

Any ideas
