Default Big drop in Adsense revenue since the weekend...

I've noticed a BIG drop in Adsense revenue since the weekend (40-50%) due to smart pricing. Does anyone else share my pain? I'm getting 1c clicks left right and center and it seems that the smart pricing is bringing that 'trust factor' into play. Funnily enough it's odd how much traffic is pushed to certain sites by Google (because they think it's a good resource I would hope), just to get such low CPC.

I think the market now tends to favour the ad buyer more, which is probably a good thing taking ROI into account. What's your thoughts? I couldn't find any other posts no this issue (not smart pricing, but the 'Big Daddy Droppings' in revenue).

I saw some drops as well. I am doing more research on it.

Here's a pretty good article on it:
http://www.clickz.com/news/article.php/3334761

I would imagine a large number of Sites have been effected, if they just rolled it out or have changed it substantially, recently.

Like any other algs, there will be colateral damage.

The replay may push some publishers into competitor's territory. It's a gamble that way.

I guess we'll be seeing some more E-Books coming out shortly with 'hidden secrets on how to maximise your Adsense income, smartly'. Now the million dollar question is how the Goog determines whether your site has more relevant content than the site next door... Trustrank I assume?

Smart pricing has been around for a couple years, but it seems that after "Big Daddy's" introduction, that there may have been some new "value" applications that kicked in.

One that seems to have been hit particularly hard on the publisher side is SEO.

Mine is terrible. 1c and 2c clicks at best. Compared to last month this month is dead. I am looking into other sources to replace adsense.
