Google Page Rank and Cache Weirdness

My main clients website (dreamstoreactive.org) has existed for around 3 years now and has changed a lot in that time. Currently we are getting top level page ranks on relevent keywords BUT last week i did a google search for the term Dreamstore we came first (hurraa, happy client) BUT ranking around 5th was a cached version of the site that was over a year and a half old that has never come up in my monthly rank check.

Weird?

I'm not an active member in the forums but enjoy reading what everyone has to say and I thought this would be of interest as I've seen similar posts on the matter of cached pages popping up out of the blue that are quite old.
