Google search for Plex Home Theater: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...er&btnG=Search and now a google search for my site: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...om&btnG=Search Two different titles. I'm noticing on different searches that people find my site are now recieving different title tags. It almost seems completely random Like if I search for a random product we carry. It will change that product's title page to Plex Home Theater sometimes. On other products it will leave it the original title. This has caused about a 37% drop in traffic coming from phrases directed at exact models. Which makes up about 7% of my total traffic. That doesn't sound like a lot, but trust me it's a lot of money. Large percentage of people that search for a direct product model are ready to buy. Is anyone else noticing this? The only logical explanation I can come up with is that Google is taking my page title from Froogle. What the hell is the point of that?

- One is your DMOZ title
http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/searc...x+Home+Theater - The other is your sites actual title. Did you know you were in DMOZ? The only thing I find odd is that the one that isn't the DMOZ title is using the DMOZ description and the oppisite true for the other. hmm... |
