Hi,

I want to know the disadvantages of Fastclick POP-UNDER on google or other search engines for a particular site. Suppose if i add code for the same weather google still visits the site and add more pages for that site or not and update the pr for that site or not.

I'm a Firefox user and against pop-ups, pop-unders or any other form of non-permission based search.

Put the fastclick code in an external file and just include the externl file using javascript and it wont be read, at least not at this date and time.

As far as I know, there aren't any disadvantages when it comes to actual rankings. Keep in mind, though, that any type of popups/pop-unders are prohibited in certain ad programs, such as the Google AdSense program.

Default Big boys

Good on Google Adwords and Overture. I'm with the big boys here. I'm against any surreptitious forms of web advertising.

pop ups / pop unders, as already stated, are an easy way to alienate your users. don't forget why you wrote your site in the first place, for your visitors.
