Default vanished!

Hi,
Since 1997 i had a good going static website called www.hotelsdupermarket.com. But in keeping 3700 pages updated was to much work. I went for a booking engine in php....and now ?
I dropped out of Google totally, all attempts in comming back (google sitemaps) won´t work. Before I had PR 6...... now nothing....have still plenty of inlinks....
I must have upset the big G!
I was putting javscript redirects on some static html bringing them to the new php page..could that triggered the ban?

Any suggesting what to do for a comeback ?

Default Domain name

Rudi,

if you provide the domain name I'll take a look at your site.

Default Naughty javascript

Matt Cutts has made reference to JavaScript redirects as being bad several times. This is a poor way to handle things.

One option would be a meta refresh to the new page. This is better than the JavaScript, but still not idea.

Ideally, you'll use a 301 redirect. If you need information on setting these up on Apache, do a search for .htaccess 301 and you'll find many references. For IIS, it's handled differently, but still not too bad.

Doing a correct redirect and filing a reinclusion request (if necessary) should help out quite a bit.

Brian.

The domain is definitely banned in Google. I would do what Brian suggests and set up 301 Permanent Redirects. Otherwise, set up a custom 404 error page redirecting visitors to the home page of the site.

Once you've removed the bad javascript redirects, file a reinclusion request and tell them you've cleaned up the redirects and would like to be reincluded in their index.

Default Javascript

thanks Brian and Bharzer. I was thinking the java script was the better solution and will not be detected (One SEO Newspaper said this should be the best solution, much better than meta refresh). I learned my lession now.
Will go and "clean up the mess i made" and see what´s happening. Once again thank you folks, you helped me alot.
