This is just a minor gripe but I was going to set up an alert or an RSS feed from the Google news service only to discover it can't find any matches for [php].
This is unusual because I KNOW for a fact that there are stories with this word in and you can confirm it yourself by doing a search for [Zend] and noting the articles with "php" in. It begs the question - why on earth can't it find that particular word? Quite a significant omission/filter. I don't think it has anything to do with word size either because [are] returns results, no problem.
