Default Desperate SEO

the seo game is getting harder and harder , my thoughts today is about what is the benefits for google to change their algo all the time and confuse all webmasters arround the world ... so the answer is simple : google adwords
google says their engine is based on relevancy ... I even can find my pages on simple things like - my name ... personal number and other unique things ... we are looking for ways and reading books , but all we lose the game :( this is sad ,

As with any technology that continues to advance, the "game" will always become more difficult as time passes, but as long as you stay informed, and want to participate, you should be able to be successful...

Default evolution is inevitable.

Like every technology, evolution is inevitable.

You have to change with the times.

You have to be playing in the game also, spectators only eat popcorn.

You have to swim to progress, floating gets you nowhere.

Hi

Some heavy philosophy over here ;-) Just do the basics right and the rest will follow. Remember, if there's no demand for a keyword (i.e. enough people searching for your phrase/keyword) there's no use in optimising for it. Do your keyword research properly and you will obtain better results. Also get your copy written properly on your sites. It's extremely important to have enough content and also have it comprehensively segmented under heading tags. Then make sure you get enough backlinks. These are the basics (apart from optimising your meta data). Build from there, set up test sites which you can play with to get best results. Trial and error, we've all been there...

I disagree with your statement. They aren't changing their algo all the time. Nor do they do anything to confuse webmasters. They adjust and tweek the algo a few times a year but its primarily to combat spam.

I agree Keith0. It's not about making life difficult for us. It's about setting guidelines for proper conduct to get the best possible results. Unfortunately as with any competitive industry, there are ways to cheat the system and that is what Google is trying to eradicate.
