Default Google not displaying website - Help!

I created a website: www.poorcreditgenie.com and submitted the URL 2X to google but so far nothing. I did this about 1 week ago.

I also submitted the site to over 40 search engines. What is the average time to see your website being displayed by major search engines?

submitting to the se's will take 2-3 months to get indexed. submit to directories and build inbound links. much quicker to beindexed this way.

There is no need to submit to the SEs any more.

IMO - You are going to have to manualy submit to hundreds of relevant directories to think about getting a start in that competitive arena.

Sorry for the silly question but what does "manually submit" to directories mean?

Do you mean yahoo, msn, dmoz, etc?

I have already submitted it to dmoz.

If anyone has a list of directories to submit to please let me know.

I have manually submitted to all the search engines under "ADD ME".

Try to keep your link at place which is spidered well by robots. By submitting to search engnies you won't get static links ( of your site ) for the robts to pickup.

DMOZ will take lot of time for listing your site. Yahoo diretory , you have to spend some $ .
