I created a website: www.poorcreditgenie.com and submitted the URL 2X to google but so far nothing. I did this about 1 week ago.
I also submitted the site to over 40 search engines. What is the average time to see your website being displayed by major search engines? |

submitting to the se's will take 2-3 months to get indexed. submit to directories and build inbound links. much quicker to beindexed this way.

Sorry for the silly question but what does "manually submit" to directories mean?
Do you mean yahoo, msn, dmoz, etc? I have already submitted it to dmoz. If anyone has a list of directories to submit to please let me know. I have manually submitted to all the search engines under "ADD ME". |

List is here
http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=21900 Try to keep your link at place which is spidered well by robots. By submitting to search engnies you won't get static links ( of your site ) for the robts to pickup. DMOZ will take lot of time for listing your site. Yahoo diretory , you have to spend some $ .
