My 1st website (www.home-plans-house-plans.com) was a dud, bad affiliate agreement, alot of tire kickers as opposed to buyers. I was using a template (2 column) provided by my hosting company, which I didn't like. I decided to learn some html/css to create a 3 column layout. I decided to discontinue the 1st site, prior to stopping the hosting of 1st site. I practiced my new 3 column website design using the 1st site hosting url (www.home-plans-house-plans.com).
In short I uploaded the new 3 column layout without any links to or from the about to be defunct website. Wasn't thinking about it at the time but I had in effect created an orphan page with the url of the 1st site. Shortly after I did this I noticed that All the google traffic stopped, a week or so later the google satellite search engine traffic stopped as well. My question is will this inadvertant error, and subsequent penalty result in my new site (http://www.online-casino-gambling-betting.net) being put on a penalty black list of sorts. Since I had my name and contact info listed on both websites. If there is a carry-over penalty, per the website owner, is there anything I can do to remove it. Thanks. Harold |
