Default mod_rewrite 301 redirection and PR question

I have all the links pointing to http://sub.domain.tld and http://sub.domain.tld has PR4, and then I decided a while back to implement mod_rewrite in .htaccess with 301 redirection to http://www.sub.domain.tld (which has PR3)

My question is:

Will google see and start counting the links that point to http://sub.domain.tld as links pointing to
http://www.sub.domain.tld

and will My PR increase for http://www.sub.domain.tld and PR for http://sub.domain.tld drop?
