Default Whoo Hoo! Knocked out of the #1 spot by a spam site, YES!!!

Go to google and enter: seo for google

The new #1 site:
top-seo-google-search-engine-optimization-ranking-specialist[.]com/

Awesome.

Seriously, I think this helps all of us let us know what G looks at and considers when ranking sites...

Don't worry.

It may rank higher by 1, right now, but I don't think most will be impressed, that site looks very amateurish.

It's slipped to #2 now, so all is well. :P

Just kidding. This is the sort of reason why I was never impressed with Google, even when I was just a searcher who didn't build sites. Whenever I used them, I would just routinely ignore the first 3 results. Usually, #4 was where you started seeing the real sites.

I just found it entertaining, I am not worried at all about slipping to #2, since anyone with any reading skills should figure out that it's a spammy site...

... I hope :-P

Default So who claims...

So, who still claims that on-page doesn't make any difference at all?

Sickening.

Brian.

His extreme tracking stats are available at the page bottom and until June when his daily average when up to 400+/day, he was only getting an average 20 /day...

the www. version has a PR 0, while http://[gap] top-seo-google-search-engine-optimization-ranking-specialist.com/index.html has PR 5.

Inbound links 3,494 total - google: 54

That is funny but why does everyone freak out about a spam site claiming #1 for a brief moment? I dont even see the site in the index, right now. To say SPAM content REALLY works is a little overdone. Yes content, and even spammy content does work to some extent. Seems to me Google is constantly tweaking and just because a few slips through the cracks doesnt make it the rule.

Just as everyone freaks out when the toolbar doesnt work on one Datacenter or is down for a weekend or rankings fluctuate. Tweaks, Datacenters, Testing, one slot drop = OMG? Maybe a factor domain name length and hyphen count was mistakenly removed from the algo and then reinstated. Maybe they are franticly trying to salvage their "Bourbon" promise to credibility? Either way I dont see many SPAM sites overtaking our market. Therefore IMO Google is about on par and much better than MSN and Y! right now

LOL

Sheesh. I gave web hosting to the 11 year-old son of a friend. He and his friends have put together something better than this bozo.
