I'm seeing it on homepages only.
I'm only getting PR values on homepages at the moment, and at about 80% of the sites I'm checking. I'm trying sites that I've never been to. Not sure if I'm getting an error or not.

If it desapear forver the SEO game would become harder.
Maybe this is what google wants. Their #1 priority is to fight spam. With no visible PR the spam may be reduced. And maybe the link buying clients, and link exchangers will go to adsense. If they can reduce the spam with let's say 40% and increase their adsence revenue with 10% with one shot and stay in the news for 3 months and in exchange for this they only got to have a haircut. Why not? They created the histery about PR, maybe the time has come to get the profits of it. Really why not?
These are only speculations ofcource.

LOL. Spoke to soon. Ten minutes ago, I had PR, now I don't. Maybe Google has started a lottery. Now you have PR. Now you don't.
Have to be murder for the folk that sell links. Now you got it, oops, no you don't. Well lookee here, lemme spin the wheel and see what happens.
Since I'm a hobby site, I find this pretty funny.

All the sites I've visited now have PageRank - seems to be working fine. I'm in Calgary, Alberta.
I haven't noticed a difference in PR for the sites I've visited - has anyone seen any changes in PR for the sites they've visited?

I received a phone call alerting me to the news PR is back, so I had to break away from the barbeque to say welcome to all the new folks who searched their way here to WPW because of the PR temporary disappearance. And also to those who went into shock thinking the disappearance was permanent, that it's time to breathe a collective sigh of relief. :D
Now go back to your hotdogs and burgers. Happy Memorial Day!

Still gone here, Ohio.
Also why does everyone think if the toolbar stopped showing PR, that PR itself would go away? Google has been using PR for sometime (way before the toolbar). If it stops showing up in the toolbar it doesn't mean it is gone from the equation of Google rankings. If it doesn't show up on the toolbar it would change my strategy one bit. I am actually hoping it goes away from "public view". It eliminate a lot of spammers and false profits.

Welcome back!
Happy to see it come back...it was interesting to see the PR on three sites I exchanged links with "blindly" yesterday based on other criteria besides the green bar...one PR5 and two PR4...not bad!
However, I still prefer to have the added data of the PR!!!

All seems good except
It looks like the PR bar is back, but now back-links have changed across several DC's within google. Some up, some down.

Perhaps it was because of the Sun storm or something...I don't think we'll hear anything about it from Google Plex;-)
