Pet Retail with a Blog

Our online pet store is almost ready. We have a pet blog. I'm not sure how to go about listing with search engines or directories. The blog is one part of the website but the main focus is pet retail. Do we list ourselves twice with a search engine or directory? Do we list ourselves with blog directories? I'm open to any advice you can offer. Thanks.

Hi belindac,
Concerning search engines unfortunately you wont be able to list your site twice unless it has two domain names, the way the site ranks/lists is up to the search engine. As for the directories, it depends on the rule of the directories, some may not allow that you list your domain twice...
I suggest that you use two different folders to make the structure clear between the two types of content, for example: mydomain.com/blog and mydomain.com/store,
