Hi everyopne
I am trying to get this site http://www.pacificnorthwesticf.com/ to come up in google with good rankings for this key phrase

I'm inclined to say that the phrase already exists in your site logs. What search phrases are your visitors using? What words bring them to your site? What questions do people ask you when they get in touch with you? Etc., etc.
If you'll forgive me for saying so, I've never heard of Insulating Concrete Forms (and I'm in the real estate business, which is certainly related to the construction trades), but there must be some triggers that encourage people to learn about them. What foreknowledge, what "thing's-I've-been-hearing-about," what "it's-been-suggested-that-I-find-more-about" phrases lie behind people visiting your site?
True, this is no answer for you. Just a range of questions. But I think what you're looking for lies within them.

Default ICF is something i just learned about as well

I am the web designer for PNW ICF and it was my client who asked if i could get a better listing for that phrase .. insulating concrete forms .. because i believe they use it when making multi million dollar homes and buildings .. So i think that is where he would like to compete the most..

As far as what keywords are producing hits as of right now ... http://www.pacificnorthwesticf.com/s...mary/index.htm if you go here you can see the types of search hits the site is getting.

But my client wants to see it come up for insulating concrete forms .. i thought i had pretty good desity for that phrase on the home page and would at least make top 50

You need content on your site relating to the subject. The only link to topic that I could find on your site was to another site, which is fine, but you also need to have as much information as possible on your site.

Get more links from other sites using the phrase Insulating Concrete Forms in the link - that's the easiest way to rank well!

Why not make a page titled 'insulated concrete forms', and tell the world what they are, then ad a few links to it.

Agreed. What are they? What do they do? Why do we need them? Why are they better than...? Etc. A few internal links, some IBL's with the phrase as anchor text should serve the purpose.

Link Vault

"Link Vault is made up of a large group of quality websites. Each new member must bring to the network at least one high quality website and make available a few links slots for existing members. In return you receive 'Vaultage' which you use to receive links from the other members websites.

Each website added to the network will be vetted by a person before any links are placed to ensure it meets our strict quality guidelines. Should you wish to use your Vaultage quota to provide text link adverts to a website not in the system, then this website will also need to pass the vetting.

Link Vault is completely free and the set up is straightforward, flexible and easily customized. All the links are static, unless you delete them or the site is removed. You also have full control over the number of text links you receive."
