I have a decent rank of 4. Most of my pages are 1-2-3 or 4. I have several hundred link partners and fair extremely well with MSN and YAHOO. However, Google, lately, has decided not to deliver that many hits to me anymore. I have never lost my rank, but my problem, as reported to me by a link partner, is that if you outright search for my site on Google using http://www.nyw-diet-supplements.com google returns with no info available. Although if you just look for nyw-diet-supplements I am found just fine. Can anyone tell me why this might have happened, if it is a real problem and what I can do to fix it?
Here is the ironic thing, my old domain I now use as a redirect, (so as not to lose any residual traffic) is found just like you would want. I even have a good page rank. Keep in mind, I have only one page on this particular domain and the host providor has it laiden with ads. The old domain is http://www.newyouwellness.com and my new domain is http://www.nyw-diet-supplements.com What's really bad about the whole thing is my yahoo hits have incresed dramitically while my Google hits have dropped. I've learned the difference between MSN+Yahoo users VS Google users. Google users are the ones who spend their money while the MSN+Yahoo are the casual surfers. Thanks to all!!! First thing to fix would be this:
http://www.nyw-diet-supplements.com/store.asp and http://www.nyw-diet-supplements.com are the same content - why would Google want two copies of the same page in its index? I found the /store.asp when looking for your /robots.txt file ---- that redirect is not a good idea as when Googlebot comes by, it looks for the robots.txt file - if you don't have one, it no matters ---- but the redirect is not a good idea. *Thanks*
Please check again, I have the robots.txt in place. I am using easystorecreator.com and they are great but for a while now, something did not feel quite right. However, they have great service and I will continue using them. I have another site with them at http://www.lindseys-collectables-and-gifts.com That I will add this robots text file to also. Despite that, the 2nd site has not suffered like nyw-diet-supplements.com and actually has had an improvement. Jim nyw-diet-supplements.com |

Huh? Why would a hoster do that if you didnt want it that way? |

For now, it was a get-me-by. The hosting is free in exchange for the crappy ads. and yes I do need to move to a better hoster. I am in progress of building a new page and will be relocating the DNS shortly.
But any suggestions for nyw-diet-supplements.com are greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim |
