Default Uniting 2 sites

Hello,

I have a question about proper placement in Google.

I have 2 web sites:

"Site A" sells at Retail prices.
"Site B" sells at Wholesale Prices.

I do not want to sell at retail prices anymore so I want to have BOTH url's pointing to "Site B" which is wholesale.

Site A currently averages 700+ unique visitors per day
Site B averages over 1000 unique visitors per day.

What is the best way to keep my traffic up to par without jeopardizing my visitors??
Should I have both url's pointing to the same site? Your help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Angel

I suppose there's more than one way in which you can combine/redirect/redesign the two sites, but I think the more important question you need to deal with is the loss of your retail business.
You've certainly the right to abandon retail sales and focus on only wholesale ones, but I don't see how you can expect to retain your retail customers -- which is what you seem to be implying.
I mean, if I'm interested in buying say a couple of things, I'm not likely to complain at the (relatively) high prices, but I'm fairly certain that I'm not going to order a couple of dozen/gross of each item regardless of how much less the unit price becomes.
In other words, I don't readily see how you can expect to, as it were, keep your cake and eat it.

I think he means that he's going to sell individual products at his 'wholesale' prices.

Not that the only site left will be one that sells bulk orders?

Am I correct?

In this case, I would recommend that you simply link the database that Site A uses to the one that you are using for Site B. Don't risk redirecting your retail site and getting rid of the content on it, otherwise you may lose it's position in Google, and hence lose your current 700+ customers per day. Keep the site, just update it with different prices using the database from Site B.
