Just keept doing it and get some sleep. I some times I also get frustrated after working so hard on a website to see nothing happen for months, but IT will happen.

If there wasn't a premature PR-update thread, this forum would be different from all the other SEO forums.

Not sure about this but there has been talk DMOZ is now a PR 8 and used to be a PR 9. Does anyone know? Maybe this is indication the PR Update has begun and is working its way down from highest to lowest? One of the internal pages in DMOZ is still a 9.

I do not follow DMOZ that much so I am not sure if any of this accurate.

No need to check every 15 minutes (advice I wish I could take).

I have a theory I have not tested yet:

"The magnitude of the false alarm is directly proportional to the time it takes the SEOChat future PR tool to return a result"

Anyone notice how slow that tool gets everytime there is a false alarm? (...every time there is a false alarm everyone runs off to SEO Chat to check)

We saw the GOOG trump in hard (indexing) toward the end of the month. They have slacked off again at the beginning of this month.

As many as 65 data centers are being reported in some places.

We are also seeing some disturbing changes in SERP Titles and Descriptions. DMOZ anchor text Title listings and header graphic alt text appearing in the descriptions. We are seeing inconsistencies between data center listings ---- All the regular "Stuffing" just before an update.

At the same time we are seeing significant changes in our referral traffic from SERPs.

We are also seeing a rise in SERP complaints in this forum.

In the past, these indicators have been signals for a significant update at hand.

Whatever did happen helped our PR but it definitely hurt our keyword rank and indexing. What's even more frustrating is that #3 on Google for one of my keywords is a site that no longer exists!

I think they are having trouble "choking" this one down in the testing phase. We are seeing some pretty strange things. Maybe that is why they are runniing a little behind.
