Default Google Spam Report Does Work

Well, after countless submissions to the Google spam report, I received some good news.

I checked my rankings yesterday, and I moved up to #1 for quite a few of my keywords. This is mainly due to the fact that one of my competitors, who was using hidden text in his site, was ranked #1.

He and another competitor who was very blatant about hidden text (1/2 his page was hidden) have been removed from the google index as of yesterday.

So, don't give up hope: the spam reports do work.

It's not always best to "glory" in a competitors defeat... But it feeeeeels good sometimes, doesn't it?

They set themselves up, didn't they?

Like2Golf,

Why don't you repost that GOOGLE SPAM REPORT URL for everyone here, in case they are dealing with similar issues!

LOL

Yes, it sure does!

They sure did. They are both old school, and now I guess they'll know better than to try and cheat. Now, I'm going to start working on the Yahoo spam report. They're still ranked high there.
