Default Are frequently updated sites spidered more frequently?

One of my sites http://desototexasusa.com was submitted to Google at least several weeks back and only the index page shows up. actually not even that as it is really just a link to the site, but no text from the page when I do a search.

I know it can take a while to get it fully indexed, but once this starts, will it spider my site more frequently as it is updated more frequently? I posted to one of my eBay groups that I would post links to people's auctions and since these last at most 10 days (usually 7), it wouldn't help if it were not spidered regularly.

Thanks,
-John

Welcome to WPW

Submitting to G is of no help (we had lots of theads on that).

GENERALLY - higher PR sites and those sites with more frequent content changes are spidered/crawled more frequently.

Updating your site keeps the content fresh and your visitors will appreciates. Secondarily, all signs point to the fact that fresh content helps with search engine ranking.
