Hi can anyone tell me where I can find a site that will show you degrees of page rank?
I know it is possible to be for example a PR 4 but almost 5 or a PR4 but only just above 3. But I cant find anywhere a site that lets you check where abouts on the scale you are.... I suddenly went from a PR4 to a PR3, I know we are approaching another PR change time and this messes up stuff, but I am curious to check. I also need to sort out a better Linking system, as I have almost no Back links at the moment : (link:www.designsonline.co.uk shows 17 backlinks,) & (http://www.designsonline+co.uk is showing 274 , whereas yesterday it was well over 560...?) I am not geting any work at the moment and need to do something to pull in the traffic... Joe |

You won't find that information anywhere. It's proprietary to Google and they won't let anyone see it.
There's actually two "versions" of PageRank. There's the PR that you and I see (on a scale of 1 to 10) through the Google Toolbar. Google calls that "external PR". Then there's the REAL PageRank called "internal PR", which only Google themselves know about, and you and I will never get that information. The external PR that you and I see on the Google Toolbar is very out of date, as it is only updated once every three or four months.

Goto: Type in google "Future Pagerank" and the first link is a tool that checks your pr between google dc's. What even better is in 2 weeks the pr update will be under way and you can watch in un-fold for your sites. Hope this helps a little.

You sort of can kinda work it out....
If, for eg, your home page is PR5 and a deeper page that links of that is also a PR5 (for eg) - you could assume that the home page is a high PR5. If the deep page is PR4, then you could assume that the home page is a low PR5 (other thingd being equal) CBP |

NO! there are no short cuts unless you want link farms. Just go to dear old www.pheedster.com/directories.php and get cut and pasting
I was hoping to beat two mods and post the old 1 hit com - but it does not work anymore. But there is an excellent explanation article here http://free-webmaster-tools.com/arti...e-pagerank.htm |
