Default I need Search Engine position help!

For the past few years, we have maintained a first place position, in Google, with the search term of Jesus Laughing. I just checked again, and I see we're on the second page in position fourteen. This has all happened in a very short time, maybe two or three days, and I'm wondering if someone knows what's going on. How can we regain our first place spot again?

Thank you, and any help you can provide will be appreciated.

Google seems to be updating backlinks so results are jumping around. You may come back up the the first page, but if you don't it would probably be a good idea to get a few links to your site using the term "Jesus Laughing." It is not a very competitive term so the links should do the trick!

?? The Google update of the backlinks sample it choose to show for a page has nothing to do with rankings.

There have been a lot of sites recently (eg Paypal) that no longer ranked for their company - some have recoved.

I agree updates won't effect rank that much.
If were me I would relax and see what happens
over the next few weeks. You may be surprised
to see your site right back where it was. Or if you
refresh the page for that matter. Google SERPS are
really dynamic in some cases.

If it does not and your site stays on
the 2nd page then consider acting on it in
some way. If you think you need tips contact me.
If not no problem.
I am a laided back Freelance SEO.

Your key words are not real competitive
but some of the sites that have bumped
you could very well have begun using
your key word as anchor text. Their indexing
and link and relevance could be stronger
than yours thus bumping you from the
top page.

If you notice your anchor text/keyword is being
used!! Nothing you can do about that. Anchor text
words and keywords are fair game!

Don't fret too much, you will see alot of change over the next couple weeks. This has happened lately: Backlink update, Google directory update and a minor algo change. Just keep adding fresh content and add backlinks with the proper anchor text and you will be back on top in no time.
