Default Google submit link is broken

Has anyone noticed that the Google submit your site link seems to be broken? It always gives an error when something is submitted.

The requested URL /about.html?q=http://peteratjlist.jlist.com&dq=My+site+has+moved+and+I' d+like+you+to+reindex+this was not found on this server.

I emailed them about it, but, well, you know...

Spiderable links are a dime a dozen if you don't have one yourself, such as a high ranking portfolio page, ie...sponsor ICRA and metacode your Site as "Safe" in the process. What's that cost $100/yr?

Does anyone really submit anymore?

Press Release Writing, Tips, Benefits, Recommendations and Cost. For $80 you can slam it right into several search entities including Google News!

Why would anyone "submit" any more?

There must be a thousand inexpensive ways!

I don't know why anyone would launch a new Site without a Press Release anyway!
