Default Is it late now to add a page for PR?

So if we are expecting a toolbar PR update by end of this month then if I add one page to my site now, will it get a PR (toolbar update) in next update ?
Or it is late now?

Previously, when G did monthly PR updates, it was generally considered that when PR was updated on the toolbar, it reflected the internal PR at G of mabe two weeks previously....so would guess that this was from a calculation based on a crawl during the week before that ---- so 3 weeks is my best guess ..... but as they appear to have gone to quarterly updates, all bets are off.

Default Slow Update

I have noticed that this current update seems to be going very slow. My home and office access different Google data centers. There have been different results from the two centers for the past 10 days.

I cannot confirm that. New content (of our daily updated sites) gets into Google within 2-3 days - no change in the last 12 months or so.
