Default Google Toolbar for Mac

I have a mac and there are only two features I would like to use if I could use the google toolbar. ( Google toolbar is for non-mac only)
Backwards links and page rank.

Why doesn't somebody with the know-how please run with this idea.

Offer this service at your site.
I go to your site on my mac, and I enter a URL into the proper space, click get Page rank. Your computer,( non-mac) uses the URL and clicks it's Google Toolbar button, gets the rank and reports back to me. meanwhile I doodle my time stairing at your ads. Do the same to get Backwards links.
I would be one of millions who would be comming back to your site again and again.
The programing can't be all that hard to do.

please let somebody know who can make some money off of this.
thanks

There are several groups lobbying for a MAC version of the Google toolbar - maybe the problem is that consistent weblog statistic indicating that only about 1-2% of visitors to a website are on a MAC - the same problem that inflates prices for MAC versions of software.

Try a search on Google for "google toolbar for mac" (include the quotation marks) and you'll find several activist groups and discussions about the issue, including my favorite:

thanks for the info Minstrel.

I am unsure that I need a google toolbar.
I found that I can get the links to any site by going to google and typing in the word "link" before the URL I want to research.

How ever I still have not found a way to find the rank for a site with out haveing the google toolbar.

Anybody have an idea?

Thanks
