Default Back in Google - Thanks!

You might remember I posted back in December that a client site was ranking well (1st SERP for most keywords) and then dropped off the Google index completely.

Well today the site is back - almost to the same position as before.

I did wondered if the site had been hijacked as the top result for the domain was another site!! But that seems to have gone now.

I'm not 100% sure whether it was Sandboxed or the site was hijacked. But at least its back (exactly 3 months to the day btw).

Thanks for all the suggestions here but in the end being patient was the only thing I could do.

Thanks again.

DJ

DJ,

This is a great post to prove Googles new evil sandboxing technique.

Your site gets listed in Google with good results for about two weeks,

All of a sudden it's gone, cant find it or it's so far down the ranks you get carpal tunnel looking for it,

Three months later it shows back up again. Yes it was sandboxed, once again this is the evil Googles way of making sure your not a spammer site, they figure that if your still around in three months you must be legitimate.

In the mean time we all (and our clients) suffer in Google but excel in Yahoo and MSN. In my opinion this is already obsolete, now that the spammers know they will just forget about their site for three months.

Another side effect to this madness is terrible results from the evil Google. Webmasters and the average user all suffer from the so called geniuses at this dictating once loved now hated evil search engine.

Can you tell I'm not happy with them?
