Default SITE RANK Changes

HI all,

I have noted something strange today in google.
My site is Dubai netlink.
and i am in india.

When i search with the keyword "dubai netlink" at my
system i am getting my site position at "4" and total competitor is is showing is 508.
and in another system at same time in my network when i search i get the no "1" position with the same keyword. but the competitor is lot more 2420.

Can anybody tell me why there is so difference in position of site.

Thanks in advace.

I believe it all depends on which Google data centre you are connecting to. I often see fluctuating results across different computers also.

What crewdy meant when you enter google.com in your browser it can go to one of many data centers, each with different IP.

What is happening is one computer is being routed to one data center & the second to another.

Use this tool to see the differences between the results on the different data centers -> http://www.void.be/googletool.html
