I have been thinking of doing a new website so I registered a domain, slapped a few words on it and linked to it from 2 of my other site pages that have a PR of 5.
The page now has a PR of 5 after a month and only these few links. The page is obviously not showing up in the serps's but nevertheless I am intrigued by the PR of 5. The page can be viewed at http://www.periodpain.com |

The 2 sites that link to it both have a pagerank of 5 with lots of backlinks to them. Maybe the pagerank of 5 is actually just rounded down to 5 on the toolbar.
These plus the fact that the site is only 1 page deep might be what gives you a pagerank of 5 on www.periodpain.com This is just a guess.

Wow! That's gotta chap the hides of those sites who are listed first in a search in Google for "period pain." Some of those sites look as if they've actually put some thought and effort into their sites and still the best they get from Google is a lously rank of 4. Sort of puts the whole "page rank" thing in perspective, IMO.
