Disasterous fall for our rankings on Google UK

Any ideas what happened with google uk in December ?

My site has had consistent page 1, top 5 rankings on google uk all last year for all 'ipod accessories' & related keywords. Suddenly in December our rankings dropped drastically (from page 1 to page 14).

Our web pages properties have only changed in accordance with criteria reccomended by the likes of Web Pos Gold. Our Link Popularity has not dropped either.

Any ideas ?

I noticed that I am getting many more visits from Yahoo and Msn (I am glad since Google' standards are falling) and my page rank has lowered in December for no apparent reason...

interestingly i have only recently achieved good rankings on yahoo etc (about the same time my google rankings crashed) but take them all together and they are not driving anywhere near the amount of traffic i was getting from google.
