Default Keyword & Search Term ?

Does anyone know of a tool that shows the most popular key words/search terms or phrases used on Google or a tool that can tell me how popular a key word or phrase is??

I have optimised my site for key words/phrases that I think are relevant to my site content, and know that some of these are often the words/terms that people use by tracking my site stats BUT stats only show the information on the referral from the customr who found the site, so a tool that shows related search terms would be useful to see if I have key words and search terms that are relevant to my content.

Hopefully, this post will make sense to someone.

There are a few keyword tools around, http://inventory.uk.overture.com/d/s...ry/suggestion/ for example. Google doesn't offer one itself.
A useful way to find the popularity of keywords in Google is to run a small adword campaign for a week, and look at the stats for the number of impressions for each keyword.

In addition to the Overture keyword tool, there is one suggestion tool made by Google (has not graduated yet, however) which, if used right, yields great results... it can be found at http://labs.google.com/sets. Again, it is a very helpful tool if it is used right.

If you would like more exact numbers for popular keywords, you should go with the Overture keyword tool or a service such as WordTracker. However, both of those show really skewed results, but do give you a good starting point.

Good luck!
