Default Never Panic in the Quest for Web Traffic

I am amazed how panic takes hold when it come to web traffic and search enging ranking.Evaluate your situation with your URL on a regular basis.Taking it and viewing your meta tags, keywords and description.

Then taking those and doing a quick review of actually where you stand in the major search engines. Use your web URL. Then your web page titles. The use your keyword phrases. Then use your individual key words. Check how you stand with each. Then check out the sites listed from the results. Tweak from there Don't panic my friend.

I enjoyed intense indexing and high page rank and lots of traffic for a long time. One of my major accomplishments was getting lucky and having one of my articles published in webPro News! It was used as a filler, but it sent a huge amount of traffic! It was exciting! Ahhh the good old days.

Writing articles and submitting them to the major players is a heck of a way to get traffic. But you will get turned down more times than you get published. But don't give up!

Then I was off line for a while , about a year. The day job and time constraints. I came back and to my surprise I was still indexed in the engines.

However my ranking and listing was gone. I was not surprised at this. I did not panic! Nor did I go into a frenzy of desperation for web traffic. I know its going to be a slow build. And the traffic will come as a direct result of what I do in order to generate traffic. You get back what you put into the quest for traffic.

I have helped several hundred people on a personal level over the past 7 years as a hobby. Now that I am back helping others on the web again for free to learn about the web. I am rebuilding my listing and ranking. Not in a panic! Your listings and rankings will fluctuate. Your state of mind in regards to your listing makes you ripe for the picking.

You have a business at stake. This makes traffic important. First take a deep breath sit back and relax. The re evaluate investigate and revisit. Then seek solutions. But don't jump for fee based services right off the bat. Many don't realize you can accomplish what you need with little or no expense. It just take time and effort.

Good luck in your endeavors!
