Default Is Google Really Totally Automated?

I decided to find out for myself whether or not the almighty Google was really automated, or if there was more human editing than they were letting on.

On my website, my listings page ranked #1 for the terms: (MSN Beta & Google)

current listings in lusby

And on the first page for: (MSN Beta & Google)

current listings in solomons
current listings in prince frederick

Granted these aren't very competative searches, but that is the point. So I made a page called listing_results.html which linked to those results pages on Google and MSN Beta. I checked every day to see when they cached the page. Once they did, wouldn't you know that my results for these terms only dropped from the SERP's on Google, but remain on MSN Beta.

You can't say I'm just being melodramatic or spiteful because my listings dropped in Google because I said, it's only for the above terms - which was my intention. Kinda funny huh, fully automated.
