Default Please help to solve my Google's google

I run a matrimonial site called www.starmatrimonials.com.<flood6 edit: fixed URL>

Even though the content of the site is very relevent and msn & yahoo rank it in first page for the keyword 'matrimonial', Google is not at all entertaining the site and is posting the site in 4-5 page.

Can any one analize the site and suggest me what my site is lacking so that I can get the site to 1-2 page of google.

Regards

Ganesh, lganimys@yahoo.co.in[/quote]

Google puts more emphasis on keywords in anchor text ... if you want to do better in G, you need more.

Off topic, but...
Yes, I noticed the same.
However, usually that should not be a problem. The root (".") could be entered too without influence.
This is probably some strange DNS configuration, maybe double point somewhere.

Your site is #41 out of 2.3 million pages for the single word 'Matrimonial'. That is excellent work as sinlge keywords are extremely difficult to rank well for.

Also, your site is #3 for 'Matrimonial services' which I would think is more likely to be searched.

As cbp suggests, keep adding links with 'Matrimonial' as the only word in the anchor text for continued improvement there. I would suggest some higher quality links than you have now e.g., directories and wedding sites.
