Default Keep getting Supplemental Result

Hey everyone,

I'm getting confused on my results from google doing a site:http://www.milehighsecurity.com

The first part of this year I only had a couple of results listed in the google directory, which was understandable, but 90% of them were listed as Supplemental Results. Then a couple of days ago when google had there backlink update, all my pages were indexed!! with no supplemental results which I was excited about. I check my results as of yesterday and just about 98% of my 416 pages listed on google were now back in Supplemental Result Land? What is going on here, how can this be corrected.. Looking foward to all your responses or listing your similar situtations..

Google still in flux (a bit more than usual) from some sort of update- wait until all data centers are stable.

There are probably dozens of threads on this board regarding Google's update, changes in results, and the 1969 cache issue.

Default What we're saying is...

What tcampione and the others are saying is that yes, Google is in a flux, and you'll just have to ride this wave out until it clears up again. It doesn't usually last this long or have such highs and lows, but it happens.

If you're really depending on Google for revenue, that's where Adwords can come in. Our biggest ROI term has been showing huge variations over the past week or two, sometimes the page doesn't even exist in the index. But through it all, we are still showing a reasonable number of sales because we can buy a blue (above the organic results) sponsored listing for under a quarter a click.

Paid listings don't ride the waves like organic, and anyone serious about making money online should at minimum do some experimenting with ads to see that you're hitting the correct key phrases, but also to make your site danceproof. When Google starts to dance, it can really disrupt the cash flow for a lot of unprepared businesses, especially if they end up at the bottom of the pile after the dance.

Brain,

Thanks for getting more in depth with this flux with google. I have been trying to figure out a good ad for my site for use with google adwords, it has only bought a couple of sales. I'm not sure if I'm targeting the right keywords etc. Thanks for your help
