Default Very interesting question . . . atleast to me . . .

Hello,

Is a sub-domain and a domain name looks like two different domains to a spider?

For example:

Is yahoo.com and music.yahoo.com two different domains in the eyes of the search engine?

Your reply would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely

Jb

yahoo is considered a 2nd level domain name.
music, or www, or www2 are considered 3rd level and considered different.
