PR has just been updated in Google Directory

Not all data centers updated yet...
The across the board PR drop, discussed in previous thread is still there.

Directory PR does not equal Toolbar PR. Usually the directory PR is more up to date since they only update toolbar PR quarterly now.

In order to view your Directory PR your website must be listed in DMOZ since google's directory runs off their listings.

This may seem like a dumb question but...

How do you know that the directory PR that is now displayed is not the new & what was displayed before was an older version?

Check the Google cache and date it was cached. If the PR on the cached version of Directory page is same --> old PR; if cached version of page different --> probably new PR.
