Google Deep Crawl Going On?

My logs show that Google has been hitting my site hard over the past two nights. They usually make 100-200 hits on average, but on the 5th and 6th they've been between 900 and 1000 (almost 23MB last night).

Anyone having similar googlebot visits?

I've seen very heavy activity for the past 6 days. I have only about 40 crawlable pages (another 100 are for registered users).

I'm averaging about 30 pages a day retrieved by googlebot. So, each page has been accessed at least 4 times in the last 6 days.

I also noticed a directory reversal yesturday for a short period of time....

Maybe a update soon?
