After spending quite some time on trying to optimise our clients websites for the Big G (with not a lot of success I might add, mainly due to lack of back links I think) I have quite a lot of unanswered questions, but the one that really bugs me is the fact that Google seems to ignore a particular sites homepage.
http://www.moveman.co.uk/
It is cached with a
PR but the most frustrating thing is that when you search for the keyword in question (wheelchair lifts) using a site specific search i.e.. 'wheelchair lifts site:www.moveman.co.uk' it comes above the two pages that are listed when just searching the web (pages from uk only).
First I thought that maybe it's just over optimised (maybe when searching site only it forgets about over optimising), so after 'de-optimising' it now positions it's self between the two pages (and has done now for a few months) that show in the serps when searching site only, but still not listed when searching the web?
Has anyone else experienced this and managed to overcome the problem?
