Default Where to go from here?

I've built it and they aren't coming yet! What to do now?

My fear is that the Content Management System I am using is limiting my ability to rank well. It seems everything that should be done for SEO isn't in this system.

The guys who build the system (an Open Source project called Xoops - Xoops.org) swear that there is not a need for SE friendly URLs. The Xoops site ranks an 8, but that could be just because of all the Xoops back links and I'm not so sure.

My site www.advenquest.com can rank well in Google for something like "snowboards rule" or "Comal White Water", but nothing that I am trying to rank well in with more competitive terms. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

hi bjbtexas,

Below is a very good instructional primer on understanding SEO in conjunction with your website. Go to:

http://www.website-marketing.org/

Pay close attention to the weight search engines place on inbound links to your website.

btw - you may consider adding more of your keywords within the < title > tag of your main page for starters.

I hope this helps.
