Default Lost all PRs

I seem to have lost PR on all my pages apart from the home page. See the site at www.eyeonspain.com.

Any ideas why? Most of them had a ranking of 4 just a few days ago.

Should I be worried or will they come back?

It's hard to say why a site may lose PR - It's easyier to come up with a reason if the site is banned - but your not banned -

PR is going to start getting calculated differently ver soon if it's not happening already....

It may come back in a few weeks or so..... I have even lost sites completely to the gray bar - but they were still in the serps - (ps - thay came back after a few weeks) So you have to give it some time and see what happens...

Please correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't it depend on being spidered, if I change a page on my site I always check it's PR to see if people are reading it, if not I change the topic accordingly.Sometimes Google picks it up the day after, and the more people that visit it the higher the PR

PR is purely a mathematical formula of incoming links to a page. It has nothing to do with the number of visits. Google takes no account of the number of visitors to a site when ranking either.

"New Development" is completely worn out - Gasping for a last breath!

I hear it's cries in the wind; HELP! - HELP! - HELP!

IMO - Time for a "De-Fib", call the paramedics!

Argg!
I too had this happen with one of my domains, but I am still listed. My other domains were not affected. Went from 5 to 0 a few days ago. It's not back.

Can someone else confirm it's a 0 now for me?
http://www.whipnet.com

I am not too concerned because it's just the mother domain and I don't get or expect traffic from search engines there anyway. Just curious as to why.

I added redirects for whipnet.net, and whipnet.org to point to whipnet.com if you guys think that had anything to do with it.

Thanks in advance.

Ugg... Must be the redirects, because nothing has changed on that site in months.

Thanks Manpasand.

I had a similar story several months ago. All the internal pages lost PR. Home page kept it. I figured out that I was penalazed by Google. I used to run another site on the same IP, and sites were interlinked. I was going to shut down the second site for a while, but always postponed it. When I realized that it causes a problem, I shut it down, and my PR of all the internal pages came back in about a week.

I think if your internal pages loose PR, but the home page still keeps it, you are penalized, but this penalization is not severe. As soon as you fix the problem, Google returns the PR. Sometimes it is just difficult to find what actually Google doesn't like.
