google ranking

I'm totally frustrated with the google rankings: Here an example: this site www.simplyspansihvillas.com has been online for over a year now. After the first week of its release it has been very well ranked in Google with search terms like "property northern costa Blanca" , "Villas Costa Blanca" etc. Today and for the past 6 months this site has dropped from the first pages to page 17 or sometimes nowhere in Google... Are we doing something wrong?? In contrary Yahoo and MSN show this Site with the same searchterms in the top pages!! Is there anybody who knows what to do? Thanks for any suggestion

I can't find www.simplyspansihvillas.com, as get error when click on it.

But I can guess why you don't rank well. Currently the most powerful influence on Google ranking is keywords in teh anchor text. I guess most of the links to the site say "Simply Spanish Villas" and not "property northern costa Blanca" ... ?

You've got some coding errors in your page, with a lot of blank lines and scripting outside of the <html></html> tags, or outside the <head></head> or <body></body> tags.

Also, while you have 517 backlinks showing in Google, 448 of those are internal links, leaving only 69 from outside your own site -- add to that the anchor text issue mentioned by cbp, if applicable.

Move the Javascript scripts to external script files. Lots of scripts on a page can make it hard for spiders to index your page's content.
