Google Spam Report: It is working for you?

Hi everyone,

I have send several reports of obvious spam but I have never notice any action from Google.

For instance:

Search "Leather handbags" and look at this 2 results:

www.longchamp.com/site/leather_handbags.html (redirects)
www.accent-handbags.com/ (hidden text at the end of the page)

Have anyone a positive experience with that?

I'm going to make a leap here in assumming such transparent spamming in the "Leather Handbags" search genre is bothering you due to your ownership of:
www.casadepolo.com

You have a great e-commerce handbag website. Rather than complain about the spamming competition, you may wish to outsmart them through innovative marketing campaigns or try some alternative "key word" PPC ads for your big-ticket popular purse items.

Thanks Max,

Of course we make some PPC campaigns and many other actions (PPRR, email marketing, affiliattes ...) but we have to look at our competitors and I will be very happy if everyone plays with the same game rules.

We try to create a good -I hope so- web site with a good offer, great images, reasonable prices and a fair Internet strategy. And we hope that our competitors do it in the same way. This is a very hard market and I'm sure that all the webmasters that are reading now have had some temptations about using some spamming techniches (specially when you see that others use it and nothing happens!!)

Search engines are a strategic part of our traffic and are specially important for small business like us. And due to this importance, I think that they would be able to act again this cases.

I know that there is a lot of work for them but they have to realize that should act to protect the game rules that they created.

Nobody likes to see how the others run with a non legal advantage.
