I've just had a number of searches from this address, http://www.googlee.com/. Out of curiosity I took a look, and it resolve to the German Google search, which usually calls itself www.google.de . Anyone else seen the like recently?

it resolved to English version, maybe it checks our (the searcher's) I.P/HostNames and redirects to the appropiate version.

From here it resolved to the German version.

Here is also english version. google.com always comes in Croatian to me.

Correct!

I live & work in Greece and form here I am seeing Greek Version of Google.

They are probably using IP detection to route users to the correct homepage based on language/country.

I use a similar function on my site to identify a users IP to deliver custom content based on their country.
