Another "Sandbox" Question

Unless I misunderstood previous "sandbox" threads, we decided that all new Sites get "sandboxed" launched after sometime around 12/03.

An interesting thing though is that we were recently picked up by multiple real-estate threads and Sites that are posting favorite links and GOOGLE sends me a "GOOGLE Alert" several times a week as soon as these links are picked up. Most of these new links are PR0s due to the "industry penalties".

Yet, for 4 months we have had linking programs for 2 clients going without near the expected "GOOGLE alerts" for those clients, nor are they showing up in their listings, anyway you check.

These are not reciprocal links and ALL the directories we submit to and are accepted are PR4+.

Is there another corner in the sandbox we need to know about, or that we may have missed in a prior thread?

The only websites that I have been able to get anywhere with on Google are those created before 12/03. Fortunately my main bread-winner site was already at #1. I feel sorry for anyone trying to get in the game since that time (and for all of the SEOs who promised to get them to the top). It's beginning to look like they filled the sandbox with concrete. God only knows what will happen when they bring out the jackhammer.
