Analyzing which site a searcher clicked on from the various SERPs competitors - and where that site was on the SERPs
as well as whether the surfer "Returned Back" to Those same Google SERPs or using "cookies" and Ipaddresses - whether new terms were entered

The Personlization that Google nows offers - as well as Desktop Search And use of Persistant Cookies makes this seem like a likely scenario
This may also be MSN Search's new Strategy once it gets out of it's Alpha/Beta version
